Anne Johnston-Brown supports Huckabee

Anne Johnston-Brown whose two beautiful albums "We'll Be Alright" and "You Hear Our Prayer" are so inspirational has thrown her support behind Mike Huckabee.
The following is taken from her MySpace Page

"Some of you have come to this site looking for an answer to the question, "Why is Mike Huckabee being so selfish by staying in the race? Why doesn't he, for the good of the party, drop out?" The nature of your question is very telling: you know and care very little about the process of politics and democracy. In Mike's own words, "This is not a coronation; it is an election."

There are many states still awaiting their primaries, and for their voices to be stifled by candidates who have simply walked off the field for "the sake of the party" is grossly undemocratic. To most of us on this site, Mike Huckabee is the better candidate; Mike Huckabee feels he is the better candidate. Why should he allow political bullies to convince him to forsake democracy? It is hope that keeps Mike running. It is his concern for the sake of our nation and the respect he has for the political process that keeps Mike running. Pride is a disease to which Mike Huckabee is immune. He suffers only from his critical fight for the human cause and for those who still believe in miracles."
