The Beatles-Let It Be

When I find myself in times of trouble
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
And in my hour of darkness
She is standing right in front of me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
And when the broken hearted people
Living in the world agree,
There will be an answer, let it be.
For though they may be parted there is
Still a chance that they will see
There will be an answer, let it be
Let it be, let it be. Yeah
There will be an answer, let it be.
And when the night is cloudy,
There is a light that shines on me,
Shine until tomorrow, let it be.
I wake up to the sound of music,
Mother Mary comes to me,
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
There will be an answer, let it be.
Let it be, let it be,
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.

Meaning of Lyrics:
This is one of the Beatles classics. Controversy has raged from time to time about the meaning of the lyrics. Some of the lyrics are open to several interpretations. Some fans assume that the words "Mother Mary" to refer to Mary the Mother of God. Others argue forcibly that they refer to Paul's late mother Mary McCartney and that Paul had a dream in which his deceased mother came to him and told him that everything would be okay. He may have written the song to comfort his father. It may have been penned so as to allow for several interpretations. Irrespective of the meaning of the lyrics the song has been an inspiration to many in time of crisis.
