Sarah Palin at Rally in New Port Richey, FL outlines record of the McCain/Palin team

" John and I both have walked the walk. John of course known as -in the Senate there -not just for being the patriot but for being the maverick . He has taken on the self- dealing and the abuses of power. And he's wanted this earmark reform to really get kicked in. He's worked so hard for that and I too as governor [have] taken on the good old boy network and not being afraid of the scars that you are going to get out of that process and having to put the veto pen to hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars of wasteful spending -those type of things that John McCain and I having a record to prove to you our commitment to reform .

What has Barack Obama's commitment to reform ever shown you? He had only served about 300 days in the US Senate before becoming a presidential candidate. His record does not prove reform but we are going to talk a little bit about his record. First though John and I- our commitment is to lower your income taxes."
